DENTAL ASSISTANT, Full-Time Dental practice in Lakewood, New Jersey is looking for a full-time dental assistant. Dependable and hard working with good communication skills. Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:45 -5:00 pm and Friday 8:45 - 2:00 pm No late night and no weekends. Completion of dental assistant school is preferred but not required . New Jersey X-ray license is highly preferred (required if performing X-ray duties) Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Undertake lab tasks as instructed Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Skills Perform dental radiographic exposures (X-rays) in compliance with NJ state law (only applicable if licensed) .
