Dental Office Front Desk, $30 - $40 / hr. plus benefits - Augusta Dental - Fishersville, VA

Dental Office Front Desk full-time : Seeking a motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join a well-established family and cosmetic dental private practice. We're located across the street from Augusta Health hospital in Fishersville. Our website is augusta.dental. Our team consists of two scheduling & financial coordinators who share those duties at the front desk, two dental hygienists, two dental assistants, and myself (Dr. Adam Salzberg). This excellent opportunity to join our team is for one of the front desk positions. Dental front desk experience is required, and experience with Dentrix practice management software is preferred. Hours are Mon. - Thurs., 7:45 - 5:00 with lunch from 1:00 - 2:00 which equates to a 33 hour work week. There is flexibility with the start time with a range of 7:30 - 7:55. Also, there is the option to work up to 40 hours per week with additional, flexible Friday hours. Base, starting compensation is $25 per hour or more based on experience. In addition, there are three substantial bonuses. Two are paid at the end of each month, and one is paid in late December. One monthly bonus is a daily production bonus. It is currently $53 per day for every team member, and it is earned if we achieve our daily production goal. The daily production bonuses are tallied and paid at the end of each month. The other monthly bonus is a guaranteed profit sharing bonus based on 2% of monthly collections divided equally among all six team members. The year-end bonus is currently $1,000. Last year, total bonuses for each team member were $11,637. Based on a 33 hour work week, combined bonuses were worth an additional $6.78 per hour. So, last year, a $25 hourly wage plus bonuses with a 33 hour work was a $31.78 equivalent hourly wage ($25 + $6.78) and $54,537 total wages. Based on a 40 hour work week, total wages would have been $63,637. By year-end, 2026 bonuses will exceed last year's bonuses.
