Dental Hygienist - Dentistry of Venice - Venice, FL

Hello! Our privately-owned dental office is looking for a fantastic new dental hygienist to add to our team. We're a new office that opened in late 2023, so we're looking to build with whoever we bring on. We're looking for someone who has a welcoming, friendly personality, detail oriented, is self-motivated, and is looking to work hard for a rewarding career. We are open Mon-Thurs with one hour lunches from 1-2pm. Pay is competitive and based off of experience and skill. Paid holidays and Dental care for employee and immediate family is offered. Paid time off is available and will be accrued slowly over time. Duties - Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures - Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants - Take dental x-rays - Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques - Maintain patient records accurately - Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history - Familiarity with dental software systems Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using dental software systems for appointment scheduling and record keeping Please note that this is not an complete list of duties and qualifications.
