Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Alexandria, VA

We are a patient-focused general dental practice in Alexandria, Virginia, committed to providing high-quality dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities · Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures · Assist the dentist and hygienists during examinations and treatments · Take digital (X-rays) , FMX, BWX, Panoramic, CT scan, Itero scan · Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment · Update and maintain patient records · Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care · Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed · Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards . Ability to take notes . knowledge and proficiency in Invisalign and Zoom whitening is a plus. Qualifications · Dental Assistant experience required ( Minimum 2 years preferred) · X-ray certification required. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment · Professional appearance and positive attitude Benefits · Competitive pay based on skill sets and experience. · Health insurance .
