Job Overview Our growing endodontic practice is looking for a dependable, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team long-term. We are searching for someone who is compassionate with patients. works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent care. Experience in dental assisting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Duties Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials for endodontic procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Assist the dentist during root canal treatments and other endodontic interventions by providing chairside support. Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Maintain accurate clinical notes and records of the patient. Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral health maintenance specific to endodontic procedures. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and assisting with dental reception duties when needed. Collaborate effectively with team members to help create an efficient and positve patient experince. Requirements Dental assisting experience preferred. Experience with specialty dentistry is a plus, but not required. X-ray certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Friendly, professional attitude Pay: $24.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Work Location: In person
