RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental procedures. Take, expose, and develop digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic). Provide hygiene and diet education. Schedule follow-up exams. Review schedules to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriately. Set up and tear down dental chairs and operatory rooms. Conduct parent consults and discuss treatment plans. Clean and sterilize instruments. Restock supplies in rooms and sterilization areas. Maintain infection control and OSHA guidelines. Participate in marketing endeavors. Write letters to be sent to referrals.
