Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Brockport, NY
Job Summary Looking for a position in a friendly dental office? We are seeking a motivated dental assistant to join our practice. Help support your professional growth as much as possible, whatever your goals may be. Position would ideally be full time, Mon-Fri with 1 or 2 Saturdays/month (4-5 hours). Saturday role would be specialty care and would yield higher compensation. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with aseptic techniques. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and dental history. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes and assist with the creation of dental models. Ensure that the treatment area is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.
