Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. In this pivotal role, you will lead clinical operations, deliver exceptional patient care, and mentor a team of dental professionals. Your expertise in general dentistry and specialized procedures will ensure our patients receive comprehensive, high-quality treatment in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental care including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for diverse patient populations. Perform a wide range of procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and confidence. Lead clinical team members in delivering four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to maintain a safe clinical environment. Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation, medical records management, and treatment planning. Conduct thorough patient assessments using medical and dental terminology to develop personalized treatment plans. Oversee medical imaging procedures and interpret findings to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and current best practices in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry. Foster excellent patient care by educating patients on oral health, treatment options, and post-procedure care to ensure satisfaction and compliance. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, extractions, root canals, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Strong knowledge of dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Demonstrated ability in pediatric dentistry and working with pediatric patients is preferred. Excellent understanding of infection control standards, aseptic technique, and medical imaging procedures. Ability to communicate complex medical and dental terminology clearly to patients and team members. Experience leading clinical teams in a fast-paced dental clinic environment is highly desirable.
