Dental Hygienist - Dental Care - Owego, NY

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and patient-focused dental hygienist to join our practice on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist who wants to expand their skills and grow professionally. We are willing to provide additional training for the right candidate. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental hygiene appointments and patient care Conduct thorough oral examinations, including: Oral cancer screenings Occlusion (bite) evaluation Periodontal assessments Take and interpret digital radiographs (X-rays) Capture clinical patient photographs Perform digital intraoral scans Fabricate night guards and other prescribed appliances Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Clean, organize, and maintain treatment rooms Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols Schedule appointments and assist with patient coordination Make patient calls regarding appointments, treatment follow-up, and recalls Support Invisalign treatment workflows Assist with practice marketing initiatives and patient engagement efforts Work collaboratively with the dentist and team to deliver exceptional patient care Qualifications Active Dental Hygienist license (required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with digital dentistry is a plus, but not required Invisalign experience is not required—we will provide training If you are passionate about patient care, eager to learn new skills, and looking for a long-term opportunity in a progressive dental practice, we would love to hear from you.
