Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Hudson, WI

The Periodontal Center is a privately owned practice, with offices in Hudson WI and Woodbury MN, dedicated to providing exceptional comprehensive care in a patient-focused environment. We are currently looking for an energetic individual to join our supportive and skilled team as a Licensed Dental Assistant. This is a 32-hour/week (fulltime) position, working Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, primarily in our Hudson WI location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist the periodontist during exams, surgeries, and procedures Gather and record patient's medical history; take x-rays and intraoral images as needed Chart patient exam findings Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials as needed Sterilize instruments according to regulations Undertake lab tasks as instructed Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Required skills include: Current MN Dental Assisting License Proven experience as a dental assistant is desired, experience in periodontics or oral surgery in a plus Excellent communication and patient care skills Good computer skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable Additional certification or training is an asset (i.e., Minnesota Dental Assistant License, Nitrous Certification, Allied Sedation) The Periodontal Center offers a competitive wage and benefits package.
