Traveling Dental Hygienist Heartland Dental Primary Location: Briarwood Park Dental Care 95 S Waukegan Road, Deerfield, IL 60015 As a Traveling Dental Hygienist , this role will support our amazing teams in Illinois (including shift options in Schaumburg, Westmont, and Countryside)! This role has opportunity for consistent full-time hours, extensive benefits, daily hygiene bonuses, mileage reimbursement, and the opportunity to build a flexible weekly schedule. Scheduled Hours - Briarwood Park Dental Care Monday 7:30am-5:00pm Wednesday 7:30am-6:00pm Flexible Hours Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday are flexible days available to schedule at a nearby office convenient to your location. With the addition of 2 of these days, your schedule will be full-time. Patient Schedule Single column, average of 7 patients per day 60 minute prophys and recalls 60-90 minute SRPs 90 minute New Patient appointments Why Heartland Dental? Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome! Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
