Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced orthodontic environment. You will work closely with the orthodontist and clinical team to provide high-quality care and ensure a positive patient experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures and patient treatment Take and process orthodontic records, including photos, digital scans, and X-rays Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas following infection control protocols Place and remove orthodontic appliances as directed (bands, brackets, archwires, etc.) Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment compliance Maintain accurate clinical documentation in patient records Support scheduling flow and patient readiness to ensure efficient clinic operations Collaborate with team members across multiple office locations as needed Qualifications Prior experience as an Orthodontic Assistant preferred (or dental assisting experience with orthodontic exposure) Radiology certification (or ability to obtain, depending on state requirements) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working in a team-based, multi-location environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Positive attitude and patient-first mindset What We Offer Supportive, team-driven culture across multiple locations Opportunity for cross-training and professional development Competitive compensation based on experience Consistent workflow in a well-established orthodontic practice network Long-term stability with growth opportunities within the organization
