Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains. Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Assist dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort. Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to proper aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong dental health. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using Open Dental, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support infection control standards by sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, and practicing proper documentation review for quality assurance. Hours We are offering very flexible hours.
