Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Phoenix, AZ

Benefits and Salary: Base hourly rates range from $45-$55/hour with the effective wage for this position (base wage plus value of bonuses, PTO, paid holidays, benefits and more) extends up to $62/hour. Our work environment includes: Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth - Take and develop dental x-rays - Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate treatment recommendations - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care - Administer local anesthesia as needed - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental software (Dentrix) - Assist the dentist during procedures as necessary - Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique - Adhere to all relevant medical documentation and coding guidelines Requirements: - Valid dental hygiene license in Arizona - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Strong knowledge of dental office procedures and practices - Proficiency in using dental software (Dentrix) for patient record management - Excellent understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for dental diagnostics - Knowledge of infection control protocols and implementation of proper sterilization techniques - Ability to take accurate vital signs and record patient information We offer competitive compensation and Bonus for the office and the Hygienist.
