Job Summary Zieba Family Dentistry is a fast paced independent, patient-centered dental office seeking a Front Desk Treatment Coordinator. This role blends patient coordination with occasional hygiene support. A background as a hygienist is a strong plus, but not required. In this position, you'll guide patients through their care decisions, help them understand procedures, and assist with hygiene recall, ensuring patients stay on track with their preventive care. Duties Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing clear explanations of treatment options and financial arrangements Schedule appointments efficiently, balancing patient needs with practice availability Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with understanding their benefits and payment options Prepare treatment plans in collaboration with dentists and ensure patients understand their procedures Follow up with patients to confirm appointments, answer questions, and support ongoing care compliance Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment notes, and billing information Support administrative tasks such as managing patient correspondence, processing payments, and updating office systems Skills Proven experience in a medical or dental office environment with excellent organizational abilities Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures Exceptional communication skills to explain complex treatment plans clearly and empathetically Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Proficiency in medical office software, scheduling systems, and insurance processing tools Familiarity with dental office operations and patient care workflows is highly desirable A proactive attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication makes a real difference!
