Assess patients' oral health by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and conducting oral cancer screenings. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and best practices in pediatric dentistry. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software is preferred. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and documentation review processes. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
