Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism Schedule appointments using dental practice management software, Open Dental experience is a plus. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification processes Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, providing accurate information and scheduling assistance Collect payments, process claims, and manage billing Maintain accurate dental records, update patient information, and review documentation for completeness Marketing Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Experience Previous experience as a dental receptionist, treatment coordinator, billing specialist, or front office administration is highly preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures Proficiency with PMS Open Dental Excellent computer skills Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle patient inquiries effectively Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and health information management practices Join our team to be part of a vibrant practice where your organizational talents and friendly demeanor will make a real difference.
