Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist - Hurlbut Dental - Lincoln, NE

Hurlbut Dental is a growing dental practice located in the Highlands in north Lincoln, NE. The practice consists of two full-time dentists. We are looking to hire a part-time registered dental hygienist to join our team. Two full work days a week and possibly more as needed. We are seeking a positive individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and is committed to helping our patients maintain their healthy smiles. We have digital x-ray sensors, intra-oral cameras, and an iTero intra-oral scanner. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Gather patient information and update medical history Conduct oral health assessments and document findings Perform dental hygiene procedures such as dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing Take dental radiographs Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care Apply topical fluoride and other cavity-preventing agents Apply sealants Apply Curodont Apply SDF Administer local anesthesia as needed Disinfect treatment room and set up for next appointment Sterilize instruments and help in sterilization area Schedule patients for future appointments Pay: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Paid time off Work Location: In person
