Registered Dental Hygienist - Dahl Dental of Stockbridge - Stockbridge, MI

Job Overview Are you a friendly & adaptable hygienist who wants to work in a calm environment with low drama co-workers & a welcoming patient base? If so, send us your resume & find out if Dahl Dental of Stockbridge is a good fit for you. Currently seeking to fill 2 days a week but, for the right candidate, could expand to 4 days a week. Patient care hours are Monday & Tuesday 8am-4pm, Thursday 9am-5pm, and Friday 9am-3pm. Some flexibility on which days you work Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and progress using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix Review medical records for relevant information and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Skills Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Skilled in taking vital signs, medical imaging, and patient assessment to support comprehensive care Familiarity with medical coding and documentation review for accurate recordkeeping and billing purposes Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to delivering outstanding dental care!
