Thriving established practice seeking Registered Dental Hygienist for a full or part time position. Open four days a week, Mon. - Thurs. Registered Dental Hygienists Roles/Responsibilities Patient Management: Review of patient health and dental history updating when necessary Perform thorough prophylaxis, non surgical periodontal therapy, and accurate periodontal charting. Obtain radiographs as prescribed by dentist Application of preventative agents such as FL2 Communicate with patients in an understandable and professional manner including patient education. IF licensed, administer local anesthetics and/or nitrous oxide Accurate documentation reflecting all treatment and diagnosis. Sterilization/Operative Room Management Proper room setup/breakdown with use of universal precautions/ Abide by all OSHA/HIPPA regulations and guidelines Education/Experience: Licensed to practice in State of Michigan Dental hygiene certification from accredited dental hygiene school Current with all certification, CE requirements Experience providing prophylaxis, non surgical periodontal therapy, taking digital x-rays, intra/extra oral images Computer skills in Dentrix and Dexis Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off License/Certification: Hygiene License (Required) Work Location: In person
