About Us We are a fast-paced, patient-focused oral surgery practice dedicated to providing exceptional care and outstanding customer service. We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and referral offices. Position Summary The Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience. This position is responsible for greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and supporting the clinical team through efficient administrative coordination. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming, professional attitude Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule and confirm appointments Check patients in and out accurately Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary information Collect co-pays, deductibles, and account balances Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Coordinate with referring dental offices Assist with treatment plan presentations and scheduling surgical procedures Manage incoming referrals, emails, and office correspondence Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional Support the team with additional administrative duties as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous medical, dental, oral surgery, or healthcare front office experience desired Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Excellent organizational and computer skills Experience with dental software (Open Dental preferred) is a plus Knowledge of dental insurance and treatment scheduling is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays and paid time off Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Health, dental, and vision benefits Retirement plan options Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable during what can often be a stressful time.
