We are seeking an individual who will provide high standard of patient care to our patients. We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist who wishes to work in a successful and efficient dental practice. The individual must have a strong work ethic, excellent bed side manner, treatment presentation and to help team members willingly. We are looking for 1-2 days a week (Monday and Tuesday) We prefer 1-2 years experience but it is not required; with up to date licensing to work as an RDH in VA. Comfortable practicing dental hygiene. Ability to make direct digital x-rays. Responsibilities: Assess patient’s oral health conditions including tooth decay, tooth injuries, plaque, gums, teeth and other oral health issues. Educate the patient on proper oral hygiene techniques and recommend products to treat listed conditions. Perform X-rays on patients to document results in record system. Maintain regular maintenance on dental equipment and facilities and keep them clean and sanitized at all times. Educate patients about proper oral hygiene and drug/vitamin/mineral medicine prescriptions. Assess clients' need for additional services and help develop an individualized plan of care to meet each patient's needs. Go over patient records each day to ensure all information is complete and accurate.
