Overview We are actively seeking a licensed Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for patient care, excellent technical skills, and a comprehensive understanding of dental procedures and office operations. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing chairside assistance, managing patient records, and supporting the overall efficiency of the clinic while ensuring compliance with all safety and health regulations. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, orthodontics, implants, and Laser treatments. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Taking X-rays and operating advanced medical imaging equipment such as a 3D scanner. Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, and professionally addressing patient questions or concerns. Support administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, updating medical documentation, and managing medical records efficiently. Collaborate with the dental team to facilitate four-handed dentistry techniques for improved workflow and patient comfort. Valid licensure as a Dental Assistant with current certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS). Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in chairside assisting and dental assisting procedures. Familiarity with Open Dental and Dentimax for managing medical records and documentation. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures within a dental setting. Ability to operate dental equipment, including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools, accurately. Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience supporting pediatric dentistry practices is preferred; familiarity with pediatric-specific protocols is advantageous. Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
