Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical documentation standards to develop effective treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of all treatments performed. Educate patients on oral health best practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term wellness. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a solid understanding of general dentistry procedures. Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, charting, and medical records management. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy related to oral structures, infection control protocols, and medical imaging techniques. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly to patients of all ages. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation requirements for safeguarding patient information.
