About us Montrose Dental Wellness is a professional and supportive dental office that offers comprehensive dental care to Montrose and surroundings communities. We have an amazing team and support team to help one another and our patients. We currently have 2 Dental Assistants and are looking to add a 3rd Dental Assistant to our incredible team. After several years, one of our dental assistants married and relocated to be with their spose. Our office is looking fill our 2nd dental assistant position on our team and we are looking for YOU! Our office offers a peaceful and colaborative environment with state of the art care for our patients. We have an amazing supportive team that goes above and beyond to offer help and support to one another and we cant wait to meet you! **Responsibilities:** - Assist Doctor in patient care including taking of dental radiographs, photos and scans, medical record keeping, chair side dental assisting, and note documentation. - Help in maintaining inventory of supplies needed for the office - Help perform sterilization procedures to ensure all dental instruments and equipment meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety - Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines to prevent cross-contamination - Collaborate with the dental team to support efficient workflow in patient care delivery - Help assist our hygiene team in patient clinical and administrative needs - Assist with other clinical tasks as needed - Assist with dental administrative support tasks - Ensure a clean and organized work space **Qualifications:** - Experience in a dental setting - Knowledge of vital signs and eagerness to learn new technologies - Familiarity with dental software systems - Understanding of dental anatomy and medical records management **Skills:** - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols - Excellent organizational skills to manage sterilization processes efficiently - Ability to work well within a team environment - Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks -Ability to be a true team player This position requires dedication to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for our patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in sterilization and patient care practices. Working hours are 7:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday.
