New York Dental Group is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team. We are a patient-focused practice committed to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. Responsibilities Assist dental hygienists during patient care and periodontal procedures Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take digital radiographs Update and maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care Seat and dismiss patients while ensuring a positive patient experience Stock and organize operatories and clinical supplies Assist with scheduling, recalls, and other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and infection control procedures Radiology certification preferred (or ability to obtain) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and commitment to Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Profit sharing Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Dental office: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Vestal, NY 13850 (Required) Work Location: In person
