About us Owens Family Dentistry LLC is a general dental office in Stevens Point, WI. We are professional, fast-paced and inclusive. Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays (Dexis) , and applying fluoride treatments in a thorough and gentle manner - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide recommendations for at-home care - Maintain a sterile and organized work environment - Document patient information accurately in electronic and paper dental record. We use Dentrix - Follow infection control protocols and maintain a high standard of patient safety - Treating all ages and difficulties of patients. We do SRP, so having your anesthesia certificate is helpful. Experience: - Must have a valid dental hygiene license in the state of Wisconsin - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is nice, but not necessary - Knowledge of dental coding - Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate patients on oral health practices - Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records We offer competitive compensation for our dental hygienists. Wages are determined by your experience, but if you don't have much experience, we can re-evaluate your wages regularly, so you are paid well for your hard work. New graduates welcome! We are looking for a hygienist who wants to work 3 to 4 days per week. We are located right off Business 51 in Stevens Point, WI. We have one dentist, Dr. Sally, and only 4 patient treatment rooms.
