OCHS operates several Community Health Centers throughout Osceola County that are accredited by The Joint Commission for Ambulatory Care and Primary Care Medical Home. This is a highly specialized clinical position including the examination, diagnosis and treatment of infections and diseases of the oral cavity for adult and pediatric patients. Performs clinical dentistry, performs examinations, diagnosis and treatment planning, dental x-rays, extractions, and restores teeth which have caries, periodontics, endodontics, and refers patient when necessary for further treatment. Supervises auxiliaries in equipment maintenance, patient records, assisting at chair side and all other responsibilities of auxiliaries. Monitors and controls auxiliaries when in operatory. Provides oversight and direction to the Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants. Documents in the patient's dental record the treatment plan and other relevant dental health information. Complies with the Risk Management and Corporate Compliance program requirements. Performs all other duties as assigned. OCHS is an equal opportunity employer.
