Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk duties with professionalism and enthusiasm Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and manage billing using systems like Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth Maintain patient records with precision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review Answer multi-line phone systems efficiently, providing excellent patient service and appointment coordination Manage medical and dental administrative support tasks including filing, data entry, and document management Assist with intake procedures, patient check-in/out, and updating medical/dental histories and care plans Skills Extensive experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Meditech, Epic, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with dental-specific software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft preferred Strong knowledge of medical billing, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, insurance verification, and Medicare processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with excellent typing skills (including 10 key typing) Understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, HIPAA compliance, and health information management practices Exceptional customer service skills combined with phone etiquette and multi-line phone system operation Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; strong clerical and office management skills are essential for success in this role Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patientsâ lives while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
