Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Dental Assistant to join our award winning team in providing exceptional dental care at our practice located in the heart of the community. This role is vital in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality dental services and ensuring patient comfort during their visits. Responsibilities Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems. Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols. Take X-rays as needed for patient assessments. Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Collaborate with the dental team to optimize patient care and clinic efficiency. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and practice policies. Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices. Ability to take X-rays and perform chairside assisting duties effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members. Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory. Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required. Basic understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
