Dental Assistant/Oral Surgery Assistant - Mohamed Ali, DDS - San Francisco, CA

We are a dental office with a special focus on dental implants. We are located near Union Square in downtown San Francisco. Our practice is keen on providing excellent care to our patients. We are looking for a full time chairside dental assistant/oral surgery assistant who is a team player, energetic, eager to learn, and able to exercise good sense of judgement. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Job Responsibilities: - Set up and break down patient rooms, with attention to detail in organizing dental instruments and ensuring a clean environment throughout the office. - Assist in general dentistry and oral surgery procedures. Experience with Yomi is a plus. - Ensure infection control protocol and standards are upheld by sanitizing and sterilizing dental instruments, equipment, and patient rooms. - Use digital scanning software to take impressions for patient bridges, crowns, night guards, and retainers. - Take patient X-rays and CT scans. - Maintain warmth and a friendly composure in welcoming our patients to our office, educate patients on their treatment, and ensure patients are informed on and understand their pre and post operative care instructions. ** Please only apply if you have dental experience or a dental background (ie. foreign trained dentist).** Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) Oral surgery: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: San Francisco, CA 94108 (Required) Work Location: In person
