Duties Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics treatments Conduct patient assessments using dental terminology and medical records to develop personalized treatment plans Execute dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery procedures with precision and aseptic technique Utilize dental imaging tools and medical imaging techniques to diagnose oral health issues accurately Apply infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict sterilization standards Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort Document all procedures thoroughly in electronic health records such as Dentrix, or similar systems Experience Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or dental office setting Strong knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and medical terminology relevant to oral health care Hands-on experience with dental fabrication techniques and endodontic procedures such as root canal therapy Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and providing care for pediatric patients (Pediatrics) preferred Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions and manage complex cases involving oral surgery Proficiency in using digital dental technology including medical imaging equipment and electronic health record systems Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas like infection control, HIPAA compliance, and advanced dental procedures Join us as an Associate General Dentist where your expertise will directly improve patient outcomes while you grow professionally in a vibrant, supportive environment.
