Experienced Periodontal Assistant – Fast Paced Private Practice We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Assistant to join our growing specialty practice. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing exceptional patient care. Duties include but are not limited to: Assist in clinical treatment care Setting up and breaking down rooms Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Take digital scans - trios scanner Take digital radiographs, PAN/CBCT Maintain CPR certification, and HIPAA and OSHA training Additional duties and tasks, as assigned periodically To qualify for employment consideration, applicants must: Proficiency in taking dental x-rays Be a dependable team player Have an understanding of dental anatomy Experience in a dental clinic setting Good computer skills (Dentrix and dexis is a plus) Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized Additional certification or training is an asset Hours: Monday and Wednesday 7:45 am to 5:15 pm or until last patient Tuesday and Thursday: 7:45 am to 3:30 pm or until last patient Friday: Closed; but occasionally will be asked to work if needed Expected Hours: 35 per week Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Paid Holidays Health/vision insurance Experience: Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required) If you are a dedicated dental assistant with the necessary skills and experience, we invite you to apply for this position.
