Prefer Bi-lingual(Korean) Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly in accordance with infection control protocols. Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and care. Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Manage patient records accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring all documentation complies with HIPAA standards. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and treatment plans to promote overall dental health. Monitor vital signs and medical history to assist in providing comprehensive care tailored to each patientâs needs. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and managing medical coding for billing purposes. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures and pediatric dentistry is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and medical terminology. Hands-on experience with dental assisting techniques such as chairside assisting, taking X-rays (including 3D imaging), and handling dental instruments efficiently. Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with Epic or similar medical documentation platforms is a plus. Understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security. Ability to perform medical imaging accurately while maintaining high standards of infection control. Knowledge of dental specialties including prosthodontics and endodontics enhances your ability to support diverse treatment needs effectively.
