Experienced Dental Assistant – Pediatrics | No Weekends Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry Fort Walton Beach, Florida $18.00 - $24.00 per hour | Full-Time Panhandle Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our Fort Walton Beach team. This position is ideal for someone who understands the pace, expectations, and responsibilities of a busy dental practice and enjoys helping create a positive experience for children and families. What You'll Do Provide chairside assistance during pediatric dental procedures using four-handed dentistry Prepare and break down treatment rooms throughout the day Take and process dental radiographs in accordance with Florida regulations Maintain sterilization and infection control standards Support pediatric patients and parents throughout treatment Maintain accurate clinical documentation Assist with inventory, lab cases, and daily operational responsibilities Help maintain an efficient and organized clinical workflow Required Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience required Strong understanding of dental office workflow and clinical procedures Excellent attendance and reliability Strong communication and patient-service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Pediatric dental experience Florida Radiography Certification EFDA Certification Experience with digital imaging and electronic dental records Schedule Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No weekends. Sedation days occur one to two times per month and require an early arrival, typically between 5:30 AM and 6:00 AM.
