Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in preventive dental care, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to promoting optimal oral health. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in patient education, periodontal therapy, and maintaining the overall health of our patients’ smiles. Responsibilities Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and root planing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort. Monitor patients’ periodontal health through assessments and provide appropriate treatment recommendations. Maintain detailed documentation of patient treatments, findings, and progress in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment to uphold infection control standards. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience in performing dental cleanings, radiography, and patient education. Strong knowledge of oral health principles, periodontal therapy, and infection control protocols. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
