Laser Periodontics Group is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing specialty periodontal and implant practice in Midtown Manhattan. This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand-new, state-of-the-art periodontal office focused on delivering exceptional patient care in a modern, team-oriented environment. We specialize in dental implants, periodontal surgery, LANAP laser therapy, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, and soft tissue grafting procedures. We are looking for a team member who is professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow with our practice. Responsibilities Assist during periodontal and implant surgical procedures Prepare and break down treatment rooms Sterilization and infection control Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans Set up surgical trays and materials Assist with implant, grafting, extraction, and laser procedures Maintain inventory and clinical supplies Ensure a positive patient experience before, during, and after treatment Support clinical workflow and office efficiency Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred Periodontal, oral surgery, or implant experience a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Positive attitude and strong work ethic Knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols What We Offer Competitive compensation Paid time off Opportunities for growth and advancement Modern technology and equipment Supportive team environment Opportunity to work closely with a board-certified periodontist Schedule Initially 3 days per week with opportunity for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.
