Key Responsibilities Provide efficient chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques Prepare and break down treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are properly sterilized and organized Take high-quality dental radiographs and assist with advanced imaging (including 3D scanning) while following all safety protocols Accurately document patient information, medical histories, and treatment notes in EMR systems (OpenDental, or similar) Monitor and record vital signs to support comprehensive patient care Maintain strict adherence to infection control standards and OSHA guidelines Educate patients on procedures, post-operative care, and oral hygiene in a clear, supportive manner Collaborate with front desk and clinical teams to ensure smooth scheduling, patient flow, and overall office efficiency Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques, anatomy, and dental terminology Experience with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and operating imaging equipment Solid understanding of infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols Comfortable assisting with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Why Join Us?
