Job Overview We are seeking an Orthodontic Assistant to join our dentalteam! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the orthodontist in delivering high-quality treatment. This position requires exceptional people skills. Duties Assist the orthodontist during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilizing instruments and managing supplies. Take X-rays as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Record and update patient dental records accurately. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions. Experience with Dolphin Management for scheduling appointments and managing patient information would be a plus. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care. Qualifications Previous experience in dental assisting or a related field is not necessary . We will provide paid, on-the-job training as needed. Proficiency in using Dolphin Management dental software systems is a plus, but not necessary. We will again provide paid, on-the-job training as needed. Ability to take X-rays safely and effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members professionally. A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the dental clinic.
