Registered Dental Hygienist - Craft Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, PLLC - Newburgh, NY

Craft Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric dental team in Newburgh, NY. We are seeking an RDH who loves working with children and families, enjoys being part of a supportive team, is self-motivated, and brings a positive attitude to the workplace. We currently have one part-time position available. A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience is preferred, but we welcome candidates who are passionate about pediatric dentistry and eager to learn. Our practice has proudly served the community for close to 10 years. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with us, contribute to a positive office culture, and grow alongside our team. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Provide exceptional preventive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents Prepare treatment rooms and maintain strict adherence to OSHA and infection control protocols Welcome and prepare pediatric patients for their hygiene appointments in a warm, compassionate manner Revew and update medical and dental histories Perform comrehensive oral screenings and identify areas of concern for the dentist's evaluation Taking digital radiographs and maintaining accurate electronic dental records Perform dental prophylaxis and other preventative hygiene procedures appropriate for pediatric patients Apply topical fluoride, silver diamine fluoride (SDF), and other cavity preventive agents as indicated Place dental sealants Charting, treatment planning, and other note taking in pt records Educating children and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care Creating a fun, comfortable and positive experience for every child Managing age-appropriate behavior guidance with patience and compassion Maintaining instruments and ensuring proper sterilization procedures Collaborating effectively with dentists, assistants, and administrative team members Requirements: Licensed in NY for Dental Hygiene, 1+ years CPR Certified Honest, Kind, Respectful Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Paid time off Medical Specialty: Pediatrics Work Location: In person
