What You'll Do (Responsibilities) As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in clinical efficiency and patient comfort: Chairside Excellence: Provide high-quality four-handed dentistry alongside our pediatric dentists during clinical procedures. Expanded Duties: Place matrix bands, place temporary restorations, and perform other EFDA duties allowed under Oregon regulations. Imaging: Take clear, accurate dental radiographs (RHS certification required). Patient Experience: Guide children and parents through their appointments, using age-appropriate language to ease anxiety and build confidence. Clinical Flow: Prepare, sterilize, and turn over treatment rooms efficiently to maintain a smooth daily schedule.
