Registered Dental Hygienist - Lakeview Family Dental - West Des Moines, IA

We are seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team at Lakeview Family Dental! Lakeview Family Dental is a solo-doctor private practice located in Suite 430 of Lakeview Medical Park in West Des Moines. Our team consists of one dentist/owner, one front desk/billing coordinator, one dental assistant, and four hygienists. We are a close-knit team that values a positive work environment and high-quality, compassionate patient care. Compensation: $38–43/hour depending on experience and qualifications Schedule: We are flexible and open to discussing different arrangements, though ideally we are looking for coverage on Mondays and Friday mornings. Responsibilities include: Adult and pediatric prophylaxis Scaling and root planing Reviewing medical histories, medications, and medical conditions Educating patients on oral hygiene and periodontal health Taking dental radiographs including bitewings, periapicals, and panoramic images Taking intraoral photographs Updating treatment plans, charting conditions, and documenting completed treatment in Dentrix Following OSHA, HIPAA, sterilization, and infection control protocols Qualifications: Current RDH license Experience in dental hygiene preferred Comfortable treating pediatric patients Familiarity with Dentrix preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team-oriented attitude with a caring and professional approach to patient care Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Retirement plan Work Location: In person
