At Advanced TMJ Maxillofacial Pain & Sleep Center , we specialize in management of Head and Neck pain disorders including TMJ, Headache and Sleep Apnea . Our evidence-based, patient-centered approach combines advanced diagnostics, minimally invasive therapies, and interdisciplinary care to help patients achieve lasting relief. Our practice is run similar to a medical practice though we are a dental office. We work exclusively with medical insurances only. We are a growing specialty practice in the heart of Seattleâs Medical Dental Building and are seeking motivated team members who share our passion for precision, compassion, and excellence in patient care. Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Assistant to support our providers in both clinical and administrative workflows. This role is in- person annd involves real-time documentation of patient encounters , assisting with imaging and clinical preparation, and ensuring compliance with clinical and office protocols. Position type: Part-time (<30 hours per week) Responsibilities Prepare rooms for patient intake, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready. Accurately transcribe physician-patient encounters into the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Document patient medical histories, physical exams, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Care coordination with other specialists Assist with managing and organizing patient records while maintaining HIPAA/OSHA compliance. Operate sterilizer and assist in infection-control processes. Perform CBCT (Cone Beam CT) scans and / or support provider with imaging within scope of your license. Clean and reset rooms between patients. Assist with administrative tasks in the clinic when needed. May involve lifting and carrying up to 10-15 lbs as part of daily responsibilities. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office practices is preferred. Proficiency in typing Dependable team member Agile learner and quick adapter to changes in processes as we are a growing practice Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology or ability to learn Strong work ethics and compassionate Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail. Effective communicator who works well in a team environment. Proactive and has leadership qualities Ability to independently develop or adapt to new processes during the growth phase of the practice in a calm and composed manner Ability and interest to move into a Managerial role within the practice in 1-2 years Willingness to register as a Dental Assistant in the State of Washington (sponsored).
