Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for procedures. Assist dentists during various treatments by handing instruments, managing suction, and ensuring patient comfort through chairside assistance. Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D intraoral scanners and medical imaging equipment, adhering to infection control protocols. Manage patient records accurately and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and necessary follow-up procedures. Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control standards aligned with OSHA guidelines. Maintain supply inventory Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of restorative and surgical dentistry procedures. Strong understanding of dental terminology, dental materials, and infection control practices. Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently across restorative, prosthodontic and surgical implant procedures. Competence in taking X-rays, operating dental imaging equipment, and utilizing 3D scanners for comprehensive diagnostics. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients of all ages.
