Midwest Refuah Health Center is seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Lead Receptionist to join our brand-new and growing dental clinic. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled dental scheduling professional to play a key role in building an efficient, patient-centered operation from the ground up. This role is responsible for managing high-volume scheduling workflows, supporting patient flow, coordinating treatment scheduling, and helping ensure efficient daily dental operations. The ideal candidate understands that great scheduling is about more than booking appointments; it directly impacts provider productivity, patient experience, and overall clinic success. This is not a traditional receptionist role. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-provider environment and enjoys solving problems, coordinating complex schedules, and helping a growing practice operate at its best. Key Responsibilities Manage high-volume dental scheduling for multiple providers and operatories Coordinate patient flow and appointment timing based on procedure type and provider needs Support treatment plan scheduling and follow-up Answer phones and manage incoming patient inquiries efficiently and professionally Assist with insurance verification, referrals, and patient coordination Maintain provider schedules within eClinicalWorks (ECW) Work collaboratively with providers, assistants, hygienists, and leadership to optimize workflow Help minimize scheduling gaps, cancellations, and operational bottlenecks Escalate operational or patient concerns appropriately Support front desk coverage and administrative workflow as needed Qualifications Minimum 2â3 years of dental front desk, scheduling, or treatment coordination experience Experience working in a dental office with at least 8 chairs Experience in a busy multi-provider dental office strongly preferred Strong understanding of dental scheduling workflows and procedure timing Experience with dental practice management systems or EHRs required ECW experience preferred but not required Strong multitasking, prioritization, and organizational skills Ability to remain calm and efficient in fast-paced environments Excellent communication and customer service skills Midwest Refuah Health Center is an equal opportunity employer.
