Expanded Functions Dental Assistant - Indigo Dental - Daytona Beach, FL

Indigo Dental, a privately owned, boutique practice is looking for a full time, energetic, expanded functions, dental assistant, with a minimum of 1-3 years experience. We are looking for a team player with great communication and organizational skills , a love of dentistry, enjoys caring for patients and knows the value of the service that is being provided. Job duties would include but not limited to, greeting and seating patients, sterilization of instruments, packaging and setting up instrument trays, setting up and breaking down treatment rooms, assisting doctor during dental procedures, and supporting other office team members. Candidate will be responsible for taking x-rays, packing cord, fabricating provisional restorations, taking impressions, pouring, trimming and mounting models, recording treatment plan information, provide post op care and instructions prescribed by the dentist as well as cleaning and restocking all treatment rooms, and sanitation duties (emptying trash). Computer experience a plus, preferably with Eaglesoft dental software. We work Monday-Thursday, 7:30-5pm, with one half Friday per month as well as the first Thursday working 11-7pm.
