Schedule Part-time 2–3 days per week Flexible scheduling available No evenings required No Saturdays or Sundays Responsibilities Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis Perform periodontal maintenance and scaling and root planing (SRP) Take digital radiographs Conduct comprehensive periodontal charting Review medical histories and update patient records Perform oral cancer screenings Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and preventive care Assist in identifying and communicating treatment needs Maintain accurate clinical documentation Follow infection control and sterilization protocols Collaborate with the doctor and team to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications Active Maryland Dental Hygienist License Current CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records preferred What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Flexible schedule Supportive, team-oriented environment Modern technology and digital workflow Continuing education opportunities Employee and family dental benefits Opportunity for additional days as the practice grows Why Ideal Dental of Rockville?
