About us Vranis Dental is a thriving, patient-focused private practice in Chevy Chase, MD. We're a tight-knit team and we're growing. Our patients are loyal, our recall system is strong, and our schedule runs efficiently. We're looking for a hygienist who wants to be part of that momentum. We're hiring a part-time hygienist to start at one day per week, with a clear path to two or more days as the practice grows. Schedule Starting: 1 day per week (day TBD based on mutual fit) Growth path: 2–3 days/week as practice expands Hours: approximately 8 AM – 4:30 PM What we're looking for Active Maryland RDH license in good standing Proficiency with Dentrix or willingness to learn quickly Someone who communicates clearly with patients and moves the schedule forward without rushing care A team player who takes ownership of their column Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and polishing procedures to maintain oral health. Conduct medical history review. Take radiographs on patients. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using Dentrix. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures. Review medical and dental documentation for completeness and accuracy. Support pediatric dentistry services by providing age-appropriate patient care. Assist in dental coding and documentation review for billing purposes when necessary.
