We are thrilled to welcome a new dentist to our team and are looking for a skilled, energetic, and compassionate Dental Assistant to partner with them. We value work-life balance and offer two fantastic schedule options to fit your lifestyle: Option 1 (Full-Time): Monday – Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) + every other Friday (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Enjoy a three-day weekend every two weeks! Option 2 (Part-Time/Flex): Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) + every other Friday (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical and treatment procedures. Prepare and look after dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. Set up and break down treatment rooms with strict adherence to infection control protocols. Take high-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos. Welcome patients warmly and ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed. Educate patients on postoperative instructions and oral care. Maintain accurate electronic patient charts and treatment records. Qualifications Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the state of Tennessee. Current X-ray and Nitrous Oxide monitoring certifications. Active CPR/BLS certification. Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, but we welcome enthusiastic newer grads! Strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental). What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
