What You Will Do Provide skilled four-handed clinical assistance during a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, sealants, and IV sedation Prepare, disinfect, and turn over operatories; sterilize instruments; and maintain a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment Take dental X-rays (bitewings, panoramic, intraoral) in accordance with Ohio radiology protocols Take impressions, perform shade matching, conduct digital scans, and fabricate temporaries as needed Operate 3D scanners and digital imaging equipment Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and case documentation Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and procedure expectations Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and an exceptional patient experience Support administrative functions including scheduling and patient coordination as needed What We Are Looking For Proven experience in dental assisting — general and cosmetic dentistry experience preferred Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and best practices Proficiency in taking and processing dental X-rays Experience with digital dentistry tools and practice management software Familiarity with medical documentation processes and HIPAA compliance Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages including families and children Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and genuine passion for patient care Certification in Dental Assisting preferred Coronal Polishing Certification preferred Experience with dental front office or receptionist duties is a plus About Pearce Dental Group Pearce Dental Group is a thriving, patient-centered general and cosmetic dental practice committed to delivering the highest standard of care.
